Are there minimum requirements to meet in order to join the swim team?

Yes, your child must be able to swim 50 meters unassisted. We do not have a minimum age requirement, however, 18 years of age is the maximum allowable age.

When do the Swim Meets and Swim Invitationals occur?

Swim Meets occur on Wednesday nights and the Swim Invitationals occur Saturday mornings.

How do I know about important information of an upcoming swim meet or invitational?

There will be a communication, mostly by email, that will include the following information:

• Location
• Start Time
• Directions
• Key Items

This communication will usually go out a couple of days before the event.

When does the season start and end?

The season usually starts the last week of June and lasts through the second week of August.

What are Dual Meets and when are they held?

A Dual Meet is when we swim against/compete with just one other team. They are scheduled for Wednesday nights.

What are Swim Invitationals and when are they held?

A Swim Invitational is when we swim against/compete with more than one team. They are scheduled for Saturday mornings.

What happens when a Dual Meet or Swim Invitational is canceled?

For a Dual Meet, we do our best to reschedule for another date. For a Swim Invitational, it’s usually canceled without rescheduling.
